Egypt's Morsi meets defense team in prison
AP: CAIRO: The son of Egypt's ousted President Mohammed Morsi says his father is meeting with a team of lawyers for the first time in prison to discuss tactics in his trial on charges of incitement to murder.

Morsi was held in a secret location since his removal on July 3, and was transferred to a high security prison in Egypt's second city Alexandria following the opening of his trial on Nov. 4. He had so far declined legal representation.

Osama Morsi, himself a lawyer, tells The Associated Press his father is to explore Tuesday ways to take legal actions against those putting him on trial, instead of discussing his defense. Morsi has called his trial illegitimate and told the court he remains Egypt's leader.
