Imminent meeting between Hariri, Aoun: report
The Daily Star BEIRUT: Local daily Al-Akhbar reported Wednesday that a meeting between former Prime Minister Saad Hariri and head of the Free Patriotic Movement MP Michel Aoun was imminent.

According to information made available to Al-Akhbar, Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil and Hariri’s advisor Ghattas Khoury were trying to arrange a meeting between the two men before Bassil traveled to South America Thursday.

Bassil attended a weekend rally organized by the Future Movement to mark the tenth anniversary of the assassination of Hariri’s father, five-time Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.
